School Supply Collection Program…

Windermere Tri-Cities is proud to participate in the 14th Annual SHAKE project.  Seniors Helping All Kids’ Education, better known as SHAKE, has proven to be a successful intergenerational project for our local communities to help students, families, and teachers.  This project is headed up by The Benton Franklin Volunteer Center and Windermere Tri-Cities is excited to help in any way we can by housing donation boxes in both our Richland and Kennewick offices!

Every year, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) collects school supplies which are then delivered to schools in Benton and Franklin counties.  The purpose of this project is to help children who cannot afford to purchase their own school supplies.  Without the necessary tools, a child cannot succeed in school.  This project not only helps school children, but it also helps their families and their teachers who no longer feel obligated to purchase supplies with their own money.

It you are interested in donating supplies please see the list below and bring them to one of our Windermere office locations to help fill the boxes!  If you have any questions at all please contact SHAKE at 509.582.0631.

Windermere Tri-Cities is committed to making our community a better place to live and it is participation in these sorts of projects that can reach out and help those who need it most.  Our Windermere team knows the importance of educating our youth and we are proud to partner with a program that makes sure they have all the needed tools!
