Windermere Tri-Cities is very excited to announce the addition of a Commercial Division and leading the team is Whitney Maldonado. Whitney has spent nearly a decade in the mixed-use development area of the commercial real estate market. Beginning her career as the assistant property manager for the 80 acre mixed-use Mill Plain One Business Park in Vancouver, WA, Whitney quickly acquired the skills of landlord representation, office/retail lease negotiations, improvement construction, and tenant retention. She accepted a partnership with her company Miranda Management and was appointed to Designated Broker in 2005. In 2006 she and Miranda Management accepted the opportunity to represent the South Ridge Village, a 200 acre mixed-use development that had just begun construction in south Kennewick.
Whitney has since worked very closely with development partner and has hands on experience with the land entitlement process; short platting, long range planning, tenant acquisition and relationships, construction finance/billing/budgets, small business planning and development, etc. After securing anchor tenants Hapo Community Credit Union, Meadow Hills Veterinary Clinic, Taco Bell, and Choice Hotels. Whitney, her husband, and another partner opened AVA Wine Room as a way to attract other small business owners to the area and together create a place for business leaders to come together and connect with one another. As a result, Anelare Wine Tasting Studio, Canyon’s Edge Winery, Golden Paradise Tanning, La Villa Espresso, Farmer’s Financial Solutions, Z Place Salon and Bob’s Burger and Brew have all taken up residence at the South Ridge Village.
Whitney will be assisted by Jared Retter – Residential/Commercial Broker, Rob Ellsworth – Residential/Commercial Broker, and Dave Retter Owner/Broker of Windermere Tri-Cities. Together this team will set a new standard for Commercial Real Estate in the Tri-Cities area.
